Our goal is to create the highest quality composite wood decking products that are environmentally friendly. Our
composite wood decks are different because we use recycled wood fiber and plastic, which would otherwise be trash
buried in landfills, to manufacture our material. We're also extremely conscious of the impact our manufacturing
plants have on the environment. Our "green" process uses less fuel to create our composite wood decking than other
companies, and we recycle almost 100% of our waste.
Our unique process of cleaning, pre-heating and mixing wood fiber and polyethylene to the point of encapsulation
prior to the extrusion process ensures total encapsulation of the wood fiber, enabling MoistureShield to withstand
the harshest environmental conditions. In addition, we have created the perfect mix of high density and low density
polyethylene to gain maximum strength while maintaining the ease of assembly that is oftentimes lost with 100%
virgin resin composite products.
